Poll's assumptions insulting, ignorant

After reading the recent AP-Yahoo News Poll that found that 1/3 of white Democrats harbor negative views toward blacks, I found it presumptuous that the poll suggests that these voters would turn away from Sen. Obama because he's half black, and vote for the white candidate with whom they share NO values/ideals! These are "liberal" Democratic voters. The word "liberal" is defined as tolerant and broad-minded. This is an electorate that is demonstrating by its voter registration, fundraising and enthusiasm that it WILL back THEIR candidate, whether white, female, OR black! For the bigoted faction of the Republican Party to anticipate that liberal Democrats will actually abandon their principles and vote for the GOP standard-bearer in the MOST DEFINING election in American history is ignorant at best and insulting at worst!

The fact that this poll reflects the inherent racism of a significant percentage of Republicans AND Democrats during a war in which American men and women of ALL colors/ethnicities and beliefs are dying is SINFULLY DISGUSTING!
