Congressional debate set for Sunday

U.S. Rep. Mark Kirk and Democratic challenger Dan Seals will face off in a debate Sunday that is open to the public. The two candidates vying for the 10th District congressional seat, which covers parts of northwest Cook and eastern Lake counties, will debate from 2 p.m. to 3 p.m. at Deerfield High School, 1959 Waukegan Road in Deerfield. The debate is sponsored by the League of Women Voters, the Union League Club of Chicago, North Suburban Voices Leadership Committee, Childcare Coalition of Lake County and the YWCA of Lake County.
