Only those who've served can criticize

In his letter (Fence Post, Sept. 27), Ray Case quotes remarks by Keith Olbermann.

Mr. Case, can you tell us how many times Olbermann has not lied? And can you tell us why he was eliminated as an election news anchor by CNBC?

And in regard to the military code, how much would you have said if you had gone through what John McCain did over 5 1/2 years? I wonder how brave you would be?

My brother and cousin were taken prisoner on Bataan and neither returned, but some of the Mayflower Tank Company did. So I believe I know a little about the subject.

Unless you served this country, I don't believe you have the right to criticize people who have.
