Can McCain relate to the middle class?

After a recent trip to San Diego, Meghan McCain was there campaigning for her father. The McCains own three condos in Coronado and one in La Jolla, very wealthy communities there.

When I see Palin speak, I hear talk of her $500 eyeglasses, $200 shoes, and Valentino suits. Would these two candidates effectively represent our middle class America?
