Pomegranate Café hosts opening event

AURORA - Pomegranate Café which recently opened its doors at 55 S. Commons Drive, Aurora, will hold a ribbon-cutting ceremony at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 22. The partners that co-own the restaurant own other restaurants. Costas Stylianou owns Venus, an award winning Greek-Cypriot restaurant in Chicago's Greek town. Gus Klangides owns Red Apple Pancake House in Carol Stream and Mike Lambrou owns Halftime Sports Bar & Grill in Romeoville. Ted Avgoustis is a Chicago developer. The restaurant features a variety of menu selections including crepes, oven-baked omelets and skillets. Lunch and dinner choices range from salads to panini's, to barbecue ribs, burgers as well as Greek specialties.
