Why not let 18-year-olds drink?
What seems ironic is that at 18 years of age you're considered an adult, you get the right to vote, can make the decision to start killing yourself with cigarettes, and choose to go to war. Yet still at 18 you can't drink alcohol, even when at 18 you are given all your legal responsibility, making you totally responsible for yourself and actions. So why give all these responsibilities and hold off one more thing that most 18 year old adults take part in, anyway? It makes no sense to me.
