Scientist, economist in Congress?
Out of the blue today, a lovely lady knocked on my door that lives several blocks away. She was asking where I got my McCain/Palin yard signs because hers and several of her friends' were stolen. After discussing the stolen signs, we, of course, directed the conversation toward the economy. This woman and her husband were planning on retiring next year and now their future is 100 percent uncertain. Their plans and dreams that they worked so hard for in savings and 401k's are now on very shaky ground. Isn't this reflective of all of our neighbors? My neighbor, your neighbor, you, me? It is so aggravating that with such a critical election where even mere common sense should prevail, we have uninformed voters willing to vote party line only no matter what the issue is rather than hearing the solutions of the candidates. I implore my neighbors and your neighbors, please vote Jim Oberweis for our district on Nov. 4. I have zero confidence in Bill Foster partaking in managing our nation's budget. Isn't our past experiences what make us who we are today? Foster's past is a scientist. That has not one thing to do with our nation's financial status. Jim Oberweis is an economist. He owns his own financial company, for goodness sake. It's apples and oranges, people. When in the midst of financial destruction, are we going to vote in a scientist or an economist? If you want to know what Jim Oberweis' solutions are, please go to www.jimoberweis.com or call his office at 630-879-9100.
