Mayor waist deep in flood cleanup

I saw something that really impressed me as Park City dealt with the recent flooding. When I think of a Mayor, I think of somebody who sits behind a desk and tells people what to do. Most mayors are like this, I think. Not our mayor in Park City. Steve Pannell is truly a hands-on mayor. During the flooding I saw Mayor Pannell personally touring the city. He cleared drains personally, and also helped a woman whose basement was flooding. I think it is people like this in public office that make a real difference in our lives. I was very impressed. It really makes Park City a great place to live.
