Gallagher acquires equity interest

ITASCA - Arthur J. Gallagher & Co. announced that it has acquired a 40 percent equity interest in Specialized Broking Associates Ltd, headquartered in Perth, Western Australia. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed. Formed in 2003, Specialized Broking Associates is a retail insurance broker offering risk management and commercial property/casualty insurance services to its Australian and international clients. The firm specializes in the energy, construction and mining industries and the corporate sector.
