We can't afford 4 more years of GOP

Back in 2003 there was a movement afoot to replace FDR's image on the dime with Ronald Reagan's.

People seem to have forgotten the historical significance that Roosevelt's profile was placed there in 1946 to commemorate his founding the March of Dimes.

One should never let facts get in the way of emotion. In light of the current housing and financial crisis perhaps the dime design change was actually prophetic.

Deregulation and privatization began with the Reagan Revolution and has been taken to the apex with George Bush.

At a recent meeting with The Wall Street Journal editorial board, McCain admitted he "doesn't really understand economics" and from the looks of it Palin won't be ready on day 1,460.

With all the negative effects deregulated industries have had on the airlines, banking, telecommunications, electrical utilities and on our economy in general, another four years of Republicans may have us all singing, "Brother, can you spare a dime?"
