Protecting unborn is the ultimate idea

I was impressed with Mary Beth Delaney's pro-life Utopian ideas (Fence Post, Sept. 27).

Many of her wishes, some of which we already have, are now being considered by Gov. Blagojevich, Emil Jones and Cook County President Todd Stroger. Need I say more.

I am glad she gave so much space as to the wishes of the unborn. To quote another writer "what good are all the benefits Ms. Delaney advocates if you are dead?"

Even Adolph Hitler and Uncle Joe Stalin advocated many of these ideas including the killing of innocent human lives.

Abortion is the killing of an innocent human life.

Delaney wants the government to provide for all of her desires.

Some of these are socialistic and communistic ideals which are popular in Russia, China and some European nations. Would any of us desire to live in those countries?

This is the give-me philosophy which eventually will destroy the desire for Americans to work and excel.

Please, where the funds for all these perks will come from? I would rather have a president who has on his agenda the desire to protect the unborn than all the other perks Ms. Delaney wants.
