Can Palin be good mom and VP?

I knew that I didn't agree with most things that John McCain says but then he made his choice of Sarah Palin for vice president. I certainly don't agree with this either. With all the talented and experienced people in this great country, he picked a person with little experience outside her small community to run our large and complicated nation.

Sarah Palin is a mom and has a job. I am the mother of four sons with a job. I have cooked a lot of meals, done a lot of laundry, driven kids to practices and games. I have had to stay home and miss work to take sick kids to the doctor and care for them. I am sure Sarah Palin also does this. Where I differ from her, is that I worked a full-time job. She had a part-time job as mayor of a town of 6,000 that had a staff helping her. While Sarah Palin is undoubtedly a busy mom, this does not make her qualified to potentially run our country. She does not have the experience she and John McCain claim. Her time as governor has been very brief.

The reason I was able to be a mom to four sons and work full time is that I have a helpful husband that worked with me to do all these things. I was not a super mom but worked together with my husband to take care of our family. At the end of the day, we were both exhausted. If Sarah is a good mom and vice president, will she have the energy to do her jobs well? Will she be too overextended to perform in both demanding jobs? Will she be too tired to hear the phone call at 3 a. m.?

My own experience and common sense says that I will be voting for Obama and Biden. We all need to vote for Obama so Sarah Palin can go back to Alaska to take care of her family and try to run her state.
