Interested in being a hospice volunteer?

A Volunteer Training Session designed to educate new Hospice of Northeastern Illinois volunteers in patient care will be held Friday and Saturday, Oct. 10 and 11, at the main office, 410 S. Hager Ave., Barrington. Sessions will run from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. each day.

HNI's volunteers are valuable. The agency's nearly 200 volunteers offer their time in various capacities, from patient care, pediatric patient care and vigil volunteers to drivers for LIFT patients, office assistance and Friends of Hospice special event volunteers.
