Pulling the wool over public's eyes

McCain was criticized for possibly not sufficiently "vetting" his chosen running mate, Palin. Yet the Democratic party has not yet vetted Obama to the core.

Consider the findings of Stanley Kirtz, who has thoroughly investigated Obama as a "community organizer." He called into question is his connections with Chicago ACORN, an organization that initiated the financial fiasco we now face.

Obama gave legal services and counsel, supported Madeline Talbott's drive against Chicago banks, even funding them. Gaining a leadership role in Chicago's Woods Fund, he supported this radical group, which bragged about "pulling the wool over the public's eye." Their report claims Obama was "fully aware" of their intimidation tactics and Talbott's efforts to force banks to suspend their usual credit standards. Kirtz describes this as "radicalism disguised by a claim to be postideological." Talbott boasted, "We accept and respect (Obama) as a kindred spirit, a fellow organizer." Yes, indeed. As a lawyer, Obama is still adept at pulling the wool over the jurors' (American public's) eyes.

Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac supersized the hazards created by CRA. And Obama was a major instigator of this whole fiasco. Yet he pretends to be lily-white, horrified about the results he spawned.

I do not trust this man's goals or fast talk, always exonerating himself from suspicious activity in his past. He thinks he has rid the table of myriad charges ... his former pastor's anti-American rhetoric, his relationship with Ayers and a multitude of other suspicious associations. I think not.
