Putting/Bush cartoon on target
In a recent Sunday paper, some reader in St. Charles thought that the Daily Herald should apologize for a cartoon where Putin chuckled at George Bush's criticism of Russia's treatment of Georgia. No apology due.
The other day I heard McCain say that it was reprehensible the way Russia had invaded, unprovoked, a small sovereign nation, because they, the Russians, wanted to control the oil in the region. That is exactly what McCain's friend George Bush did in Iraq, when he unleashed the colossal firepower of the United States on a country just slightly bigger than Illinois.
Everybody gets it, but McCain does not.
