Palin outshined Biden in the debate
I watched the vice presidential debates and have to wonder how objective the network news snippets were that presented Gov. Palin in such a negative way.
They certainly were different than the unedited debate.
The figures I am seeing indicate that Palin won the debate 86 to12 percent. It will be interesting to see how the network news reports this.
Sen. Biden was full of unsubstantiated facts, but did not address that he and Sen. Obama still don't recognize that the "surge" worked in Iraq and vacillated over whether a "surge" in Afghanistan would work.
He also failed to mention his brilliant plan to separate Iraq into three separate regions. Guess that was another senior moment on his part.
Sen. Biden tries to portray himself as a common American, frequently referring to his roots in Scranton, Penn, while the truth is that he is a part of the do-nothing, keep-doing-the-same-stuff in Washington crew that has created the mess we all are now in.
The truth is he has a very well paying job in Washington, D.C., as a senator and is able to commute by train home to the "Biden compound" in Wilmington, Del., every night.
Bet the people in Scranton only in their wildest dreams could wish to have a house like than and a train that would get them to it.
And, of course, Sen. Biden, while listing all the spending plans that Barack Obama has in mind, didn't mention one qualification that Obama had over Gov. Palin that qualified him to be president.
In fact, he stated he would be in with Obama to help him out when any decisions were being made. Guess he plans on being a tutor for the president.
As a veteran who has served in combat, I am looking for a commander-in-chief who has a lot more knowledge and experience than that.
