Not shopping in Cook Co. any more
I read with glee an article about retailers getting a tax rebate from the Cook County Board because border stores are losing business because of the tax hike.
I believe they are starting to feel the pinch from the people that have moved their business to surrounding counties.
I could not be happier.
I myself used to go grocery shopping in Cook County every week and usually spend around two hundred dollars. I now go to DuPage County and pocket the difference.
I will not shop in Cook County. I believe many people believe as I do, and Mr. Stroger is feeling the pinch.
Let's stick together and keep up the good work.
