Socialized medicine not in Constitution

In a letter dated Sept. 8, it was stated, "We must once again become a nation with honor, go back to governing according to our Constitution."

Then the writer indicates that we must have affordable health care and medications for everyone. The Constitution does not provide for those services, which are socialistic. If a nation is to survive we must provide for our own health care and other necessities.

The government needs to get out of our way, so we can have the freedom to enjoy the fruits of our labor. Government is the problem, not the solution. Our country became great, because of human beings being let alone, to start business, provide employment, and do what they desired with their hard earned wages. Then government came along with more rules, regulations, taxing everything, and manipulation of our lives.

Yes, let's return to adhering to the Constitution of the United States of America.
