Multi-car crash on Tri-State near Dundee Road

Traffic remains backed up on the Tri-State Tollway following a multi-car accident near Dundee Road, state police officials said.

The accident took place in the right, southbound lane, officials said. That lane was blocked off for emergency vehicles.

The vehicles have been cleared from the scene, but traffic remains thinck in the area, they said.

Officials said no injuries were reported in the accident.
