Injury accident in Lake Zurich

Lake Zurich rescue officials transported one person to a nearby hospital with non-life threatening injuries following a multi-car accident on Route 12 Tuesday morning.

Rescue officials said the accident took place at about 7:15 a.m. and involved three or four cars.

They did not give details about how the accident started at the corner of Route 12 and Bailey Drive.
