Thanks to those who stepped up

A loud, bellowing BOO to Maryellen Knuth of Bartlett for writing such a vicious, venomous letter on Sept. 22 about the swing at North Park School. Instead of criticizing, I think we should be wildly applauding the efforts of those people who stepped up to the plate to make a difference in our community.

Many of us were upset about the situation. But it was only a few who really took time out of their busy lives to give our opinions and frustrations a voice! And to those people, I thank you and give you a heartfelt ovation for all that you've accomplished. Well done!
