Froehlich a good friend to education
Teachers in our area are fortunate to have many resources. As we fight for more resources to teach local children, we recognize that one of our greatest resources is a state representative who was a teacher in our area for many years. It is a powerful asset to have someone in the General Assembly who intimately understands the challenges facing our local schools and who is committed to bringing greater attention and true solutions to aid our students and teachers.
I taught at Conant High School with Paul Froehlich, and I've seen the work he's done over the years - patiently teaching kids on a daily basis the importance of civic involvement, history and social studies; bringing awareness to drunken driving prevention to stop the tragedies his family has faced.
As our legislator, he has advocated for greater statewide attention to our local schools by increasing funding for our schools and for bringing home record-breaking increases for early childhood education funding.
Paul and I don't always agree 100 percent of the time. But I know that his priorities are in the right place, and he always works hard on the issues that are important to local families. The best representative is one who really listens to what is going on in the area and works with local residents to get results.
I encourage everyone to take a look at Paul's great record on education and support him in this fall's election. His opposition truly doesn't hold a candle to his experience, commitment, and accomplishments. It's important that we help keep a strong advocate for education working for us.
Please join me in supporting Paul Froehlich as state representative for the 56th District.
