Thinking About Having a Baby: Join Dr. Arin Ford to learn what you should do now to promote a healthy pregnancy later. The first 10 registrants will receive a copy of "What to Expect When Your Expecting." The free program will be from 7 to 8 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 2 at Rush-Copley Healthcare Center, Yorkville.

Preparing for Multiples: This class is especially designed for the family expecting twins or more. Learn about how your pregnancy is unique from 6:30 to 9 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 7. Cost is $30.

Oktoberfest Mixed Doubles Mixer: Join Rush-Copley Healthplex for great food, refreshments and tennis at 7 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 11 at the Rush-Copley Healthplex. Member rate is $15 and nonmember is $18. Sign up at the Healthplex registration desk or call (630) 978-6280.

Bringing Home Baby: First-time parents join Dr. Jennifer Kurka to learn what you'll need to know before you bring your baby home from 7 to 8 p.m. Monday, Oct. 13. The first 10 registrants will receive a copy of "Your Baby's First Year."

Think Pink: Learn more about breast health from 6:30 to 9 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 14 at Prisco Community Center, Aurora. Join Rush-Copley for the fourth annual Think Pink. The event will feature: Dr. Nancy Whereatt discussing prevention, detection and treatment options; Lorna London, Ph.D., discussing the psychological effects of cancer on the patient, family and friends; bra fittings; self-breast exam information; mammogram appointments; and a free gift for attending and more.

Truth vs. Myth - Weight Training and Exercising for Women: Many women are afraid to incorporate weight training into their exercise routine, mistakenly believing that working with weights will make them bulky. Join Russ Zalkin, personal trainer, to learn how it can enhance your workout from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 23 at the Rush-Copley Healthplex.

A New Life Begins: A class for women who plan to be pregnant soon, or are currently pregnant through the second trimester of pregnancy from 6:30 to 9:30 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 29. Cost is $15.
