Summer's last call deserves attention
The fall season has arrived, but this week's weather forecast is like a last call for everything summer.
If you're feeling like the summer ended too fast, this might be a good time to take advantage of the warm weather to do something outdoors and fun - if by chance you didn't have time to catch any of the countless parades, festivals, block club parties or even a backyard barbecue or two.
Here's your chance to go to a ballgame or take the day off and have a family picnic. Spend a relaxing day at the beach or finally finish that summer-long, home-repair or home-improvement project you've been putting off.
This might even be the last time you'll have to wear that summer dress or linen shirt you just got out of the cleaners.
Lets face it, between all the rain recently, which really took its toll on a lot of us, and these hard economic times, the only nice thing that anyone can really afford is a few more pleasantly summer like days.
Don't let summer's last call end without you. Get out and enjoy the weather!
