Farnham cares about peoples' concerns
Recently, candidate for state representative Keith Farnham came to my door and did something that I have never seen before: he asked me what my concerns were.
Mr. Farnham told me he was surveying our community because he wanted to know what was on my mind and what I thought the state could do to address my concerns. Whenever I have seen candidates knock on my door they were telling me what I could do for them, not the other way around.
Keith Farnham is a different type of candidate. He genuinely cares! When I asked him why he was running for public office he told me he was tired of seeing the lack of results in our state's capital and he felt that as a newcomer to politics, he could offer some fresh ideas for our community.
Keith is not a career politician, and it shows. A lot of the time when politicians talk to voters, it almost seems like they are talking down to us like we don't know what is going on in our community. Many times they come across as arrogant, abrasive and downright rude.
Not Mr. Farnham. He understands we need real people representing real concerns in Springfield.
Thank you, Mr. Farnham, for coming to my home to talk to me. The next time I see you, I look forward to calling you state representative.
