All the meanings of being 'pro-life'

I am pro-life, which is why I support health care reform. All mothers deserve the medical attention that improves a baby's chance to be born healthy.

I am pro-life, which is why I believe children deserve to be warm and well fed. Parents need jobs to sustain a family and provide for their basic needs.

I am pro-life, which is why I support education. All children deserve to learn, reach their potential and have a chance to go to college.

I am pro-life; that is why I support gun control. Too many of our young people are dying senselessly on the streets.

I am pro-life; that is why I want to see an end to the war. There must be a diplomatic way to solve our differences while keeping our troops out of harm's way.

I am pro-life; that is why I support environmental issues. Our children cannot thrive in a world of pollution and declining resources.

I am pro-life; that is why I want to protect Social Security and Medicare. Our seniors deserve to enjoy their retirement years without worrying about paying their bills or obtaining their necessary prescriptions.

Being pro-life means more than making sure all babies conceived are born. Yes, I am pro-life. That is why I will vote for Barack Obama in November.
