Police seize $15 mil of cocaine in Chicago suburbs

Authorities say they seized cocaine worth more than $15 million in a joint push this week by police in the Chicago suburbs of Hickory Hills and Justice.

They said Friday that more than 160 kilograms of cocaine were discovered.

Four suspects were taken into custody. Authorities say felony charges are pending.

On Thursday, police found more than 100 kilograms of cocaine at a house in Hickory Hills. Then the investigation took them to a second house in Justice, where they found more than 50 kilograms of cocaine.

Hickory Hills police say detectives also seized four cars, which had secret compartments used to hide drugs. They also recovered a stolen .45-caliber handgun from the Justice location.
