Aurora C.'s Roberts poised for IHSA record

Aurora Christian senior quarterback Jordan Roberts is on the verge of becoming the most prolific passer in IHSA history when the Eagles welcome Private School League rival Chicago Christian to Aurora tonight.

With one touchdown pass, Roberts will tie the all-time state record. Two touchdown passes will put Roberts at the top.

Here's a closer look at what Roberts has done in his four years at Aurora Christian and some of the milestones along the way.

First touchdown pass: Aug. 2005 against Monmouth (3 touchdowns in the game)

Most touchdowns in a game: 7, two times. Against Luther North on Sept. 16, 2006, and Lake Forest Academy on Sept. 14, 2007

Most passing yards in a game: 344 yards vs. Lake Forest Academy Sept. 14, 2007

Touchdowns each season:

2005: 122006: 372007: 332008: 12 (to date)

Career statistics: 448 completions in 827 attempts (54 percent) for 7,364 yards, 94 touchdowns and 31 interceptions
