No apology was needed for cartoon

I didn't find the Sept. 4 editorial cartoon at all offensive.

In fact. it did indeed have a point, and it was quite humorous.

The cartoon was simply taking a jab at the all of the attention that the press has been paying to the vetting process that the McCain camp may not have thoroughly completed.

Everyone's got some skeletons in their closet, and Palin's no different from anyone else.

If we only elected politicians with totally clean backgrounds and records, Washington D.C. would be a ghost town.

On second thought, maybe making that a requirement wouldn't be such a bad thing.
