It's time for the left to face the truth
My dear friends on the left, it's time to wake up.
Those of you who insist on calling President Bush a dictator are completely out of line. In no way does the president compare to any dictator in history.
I am not sure that you really know what a dictator is. The president is afforded great power in the Constitution, especially during times of war. His solemn duty is to protect and defend the citizens of the United States, above all.
The sad reality is we are at war with radical Islamic extremists who will use any means necessary to destroy the United States and create a worldwide caliphate. The president has kept us safe since Sept. 11, 2001, a threat that everyone ignored for 10 years.
Secondly, I'll have you know that we Republicans are very happy with the selection of Gov. Sarah Palin. The governor did not belittle the duties of a "public organizer." She simply defended her duties as a mayor, duties the Democrats have been criticizing since her announcement.
Furthermore, the barrage of lies are simply wrong. The governor, in fact, increased education funding and signed a bill that will triple per-student funding for special needs students over the next three years. Gov. Palin did not demand books be banned from the Wasilla library; she asked "what if" some books were restricted from children at the request of her constituents?
Gov. Palin did not push for teaching creationism in schools. She simply said students should be allowed to "debate both sides."
Gov. Palin was also never a member of the Alaska Independence party.
The sad truth is, all you Democrats are afraid that your beloved candidate may not win; therefore you resort to bashing our candidate -the very thing the left claims is the Republicans only strategy.
