Navaira out of hospital after traffic accident

SAN ANTONIO -- Grammy-winning Tejano singer Emilio Navaira and his wife, Maria, have been discharged from a San Antonio hospital after a traffic accident earlier this week.
A spokeswoman at University Hospital says the couple were discharged late Thursday, a day after their car collided with a truck.
The 46-year-old singer has been undergoing rehabilitation since wrecking his tour bus in suburban Houston in March.
Navaira's agent says the couple were on the way back from rehab at the time of the latest wreck. Navaira had been doing his rehab sessions in Houston until Hurricane Ike caused the singer and his wife to return home to San Antonio recently.
