Briefs: Fundraiser at restaurant

Colonial Cafe and Ice Cream at 1625 E. Main St., St. Charles, will have a "Colonial Cares" fundraiser from 5 to 8 p.m. today for Brian Rossi, who was recently diagnosed with lung cancer. "Landmarks Plus!" celebration at the 1906 Gridley-Snow house is at 7 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 27.
