Hampshire sets school record
The Hampshire girls golf team made history Wednesday, setting a new school record with a team score of 169. The Whip-Purs improved on the season to 12-1 overall and remain undefeated with a 6-0 record in the Big Northern Conference.
Connie and Taylor Ellett have been a huge contributing factor to the success the Whip-Purs have been having this season. They tied for the medailst Wednesday, each shooting a 38 to lead Hampshire past Harvard, which had a 213. Grace Jakubowski had a career low of 47 for the Whips, while teammate Natalie Roe followed with a 47 and Tina Tuminaro a 48.
