Voter Registration: Available during most library hours, extra registrars will be available from 1-3 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 28, Vernon Area Public Library District, 300 Olde Half Day Road, Lincolnshire. Lake County residents may register to vote. Two forms of identification are required. It is necessary to register to vote by Oct. 7 to vote in the Nov. 4 election. Rummage sale: 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday, Sept. 29, New Age Transportation, 1881 Rose Road, Lake Zurich. All booth space rental proceeds will go directly to the Carolyn Gable Expect A Miracle Foundation, a nonprofit organization dedicated to helping single women and men that are working but are unable to provide extracurricular activities for their child or children. Rental spaces cost $15 plus a $10 deposit (refunded at the end of the day if the space is clean), for a 10-by-22-foot area.
