Why would Obama appoint McCain?
It's insulting to Barack Obama and ludicrous for the media to have asked Obama if he won the election for president, would he consider having John McCain as part of his cabinet?
The idea is comparable to asking someone who won a race to share his or her trophy with the person who came in second. Forget the fact that the person you were running against was also throwing rocks at you the whole time.
Only in America would such a question even be asked of the first potential black president.
To think that we've come so far in United States history that we would ask the first potential black president to share his candidacy with the opposing side. The question has never come up before between past candidates running for president, but Republicans seem so desperate that they'll say and do anything to give their nominee a lift in the polls.
The same question was presented to McCain, but of course if you think there's a greater possibility that you will lose the election, you're going to agree to the terms in hopes of landing a job in the highest office in government.
If McCain doesn't think Obama has the experience to lead this country into the 21st Century, why would he or anyone from his camp want to be a part of an Obama administration?
