Palatine teen held on drug charges

A 17-year-old Palatine resident was ordered held on $30,000 bond Saturday on charges of drug possession and intent to distribute.

A Cook County judge ordered the bond for Eduardo Bueno, of 1875 Green Lane, Apt. 1N, Palatine.

According to court testimony, officers executed a search warrant Friday at Bueno's residence and found 3 grams of cocaine, 21.5 grams of marijuana, digital scales and a derringer and ammunition.

Bueno, a senior at Palatine High School, was given a court date of Oct. 16.
