Innovation needed on energy solutions

I am very disappointed in the unwillingness of our US Congress to cooperate in accepting or improving on any of the many energy bills that were introduced in the House during the past several legislative sessions.

The cronyism of Bush, Cheney and others with the oil cartels has gone on for too many years.

The stranglehold the oil cartels have on the American people and the economy is a crime.

Germany and France have created outstanding reasonable clean renewable solar and wind systems that have been adopted by over 36 nations.

They are no longer totally dependent on Russia, the Middle East or Africa for their oil.

Why is there such reluctance in Washington by some to move ahead with healthier and non-pollutant proposals?

Why can't the US follow the European lead? We have great scientists who have come up with innovative practical ideas that are working in some areas of the U.S. - also creating new jobs and employment in the United States.

Thus, we can reduce our dependence on expensive, dirty, corrupted, nonrenewable and polluting U.S. and foreign oil.

Unfortunately there is not the proper and fair recognition and support that is needed - too much cronyism and lack of progressive fair play.
