Fix Springfield; vote "yes" on "Con Con"
While our presidential candidates advocate change, right here in Illinois is a change we need. This November, we need to correct the mess in Springfield by voting "Yes" on Con Con.
Too much power is concentrated with our state politicians. For decades, they have failed to use that power to fix education funding, keep spending under control, and work for us.
Instead, with glaring ethical abuses and embarrassing antics, they grab more power for themselves than we should allow. But now we have a chance to correct the flaws in this long running abuse of power.
A Constitutional Convention can bypass legislative gridlock and give voters a chance to approve the changes we need. Only once every twenty years do we get this chance. To not blow it, we need to vote "Yes" on Con Con.
