Judson's Burke 3 wins from NAIA record
Nabbing a 1-0 shutout over Spring Arbor giving them their first loss of the year, Judson (4-2) got the win bringing head coach Steve Burke one game closer to becoming the NAIA's all-time career wins leader for men's soccer. Burke is now just three victories shy of the feat.
Gustavo Oliveira scored the lone goal of the game assisted by Jason Parmenter and Aduato Oliveira. Stopping a Spring Arbor team which was averaging 3 goals a game, Alex Tyton preserved the shutout with 4 saves.
ECC 2, Kishwaukee 0: Tied 0-0 at the half, goals from Taylor Bond and Jose Sanchez lifted ECC (2-2) past Kishwaukee. In goal, Vince DiNuzzo maintained the shutout recording 7 saves.
