The way election could turn out
Boy, it sure is fun to prognosticate. It could also be eerily correct.
We watch and listen to another six weeks of dissecting and bashing the candidates, with little or no mention of what the electorate wants.
After the electronic balloting has been taken, there are challenges in a state where the results will determine a particularly close election.
The conservatively chosen Supreme Court is beckoned to rule on that issue and, surprisingly, determines that John McCain and Sarah Palin are the winners.
Sometime around April of 2009, it is announced that President McCain has a debilitating illness as a result of his imprisonment in Vietnam.
He is no longer capable of leading the country (or aggravating the conservatives with his occasional independence).
He steps down and George, oops, Sarah Palin moves in as emperor-in-chief. Welcome to eight more years of imperialist pre-emptive world politics.
