Fire damages Mundelein home

Fire left a single-family Mundelein home uninhabitable Tuesday. Mundelein, Countryside Fire Protection District and Libertyville firefighters responded to the blaze at 910 Stratford Lane after getting the call around 7:03 p.m., Mundelein fire department Batallion Chief Ben Yoder said. Firefighters extinguished the fire in about 15-20 minutes. Residents were home at the time of the fire, but no one was injured. The fire caused about $60,000 in damage. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
