Nothing fair about oil trade

It is hard for me to understand why we let the OPEC nations hold us hostage to $110 oil by regulating the price and supply. That is neither free nor fair trade. Yet the United States is willing to sell its grain to the OPEC nations in a free and fair market for, take corn for instance, $6.50 a bushel.

Since the OPEC nations can't produce enough grain, just as we cannot produce enough oil, maybe the United States should use a little leverage and buy up the grain at $6.50 and sell it to the OPEC nations at $20 a bushel. I've seen enough of these one-sided "free" markets. Let's review our NAFTA, CAFTA, and other relaxed tariff practices, and get back to "fair" markets!
