Long Grove creates emergency management agency

The Long Grove village board on Tuesday established an emergency management agency and appointed Marc Small of the fire department as coordinator. The group will come together in cases of emergency, such as natural disasters. The board also agreed to lease a car for Small to have access to during emergencies and agreed upon an emergency operations plan.
