Kane Co. jury convicts man of sixth DUI

A Kane County jury convicted a Sycamore man of his sixth DUI offense late Monday, officials said.

Danny C. Hansen, 51, faces a prison sentence of between six and 30 years after being found guilty of aggravated driving under the influence and aggravated driving while license revoked.

Hansen previously was convicted of drunken driving five times, including one case that resulted in court supervision.

His sixth DUI arrest took place Nov. 21, when authorities say they found Hansen slumped over the steeling wheel of a van on Burlington Road in unincorporated Kane County.
