Gov. Palin and her unremarkable skills

Chuck Goudie wrote (Sept. 1) of the uncanny similarities between his wife and Sarah Palin.

Apparently they both like the outdoors, feel government belongs in my bedroom and each have five kids.

Maybe if Chuck's wife had as much international expertise as a casual tourist, a professional pedigree that, up until about the last decade peaked at career fisherwoman and a pregnant 17-year-old daughter, she should run the country too.

Sarah's best credential to prepare her for the next three months is her status as a beauty queen runner up. At least she's experienced at losing.
