Obama's politics don't reflect faith
Barack Obama claims to be a man of faith, right?
I watched him during the Saddleback Forum as he aligned himself with Christianity and explained what it meant to him, but I have a question about that. Where is that faith demonstrated in his political decisions?
How can a man of true Christian faith be so far to the left on abortion?
In Sen. Obama, we find someone who is more liberal than Planned Parenthood and NARAL in that he voted against The Induced Infant Liability Act twice here in Illinois. He also killed it in committee.
The Induced Infant Liability Act would have protected and provided medical treatment to babies that survived late-term induced abortions, but Obama voted to let those babies die without any medical treatment being offered to them.
Even Planned Parenthood and NARAL do not condone that.
It is extremely difficult to be more liberal than these two organizations on abortion, yet Obama is. Unbelievable.
Now, how can I, or anyone else for that matter, believe that Obama is a man of Christian faith after hearing that?
If Barack prayed and sought counsel from the true God above, he would be conservative on the issue of abortion because God is the giver and the sustainer of life. Life is the precious gift that he gives to each of us and God sees life and human beings as infinitely important regardless of which side of the birth canal they are on.
And how could Mr. Obama stand up at the Democratic convention and tell us that he will restore our moral standing when his own moral compass is so totally broken?
How can he lead us morally when his heart is so ice cold toward our unborn?
