Lake County Board member Bonnie Thomson Carter will deliver a report about local drinking water resources to the panel Tuesday, Sept. 9, during its regularly scheduled meeting. That session is set to begin at 9 a.m. at the county government center, 18 N. County St., Waukegan. Her presentation is open to the public.

Sharefest seeking those in need

Sharefest, the annual event where area churches and organizations unite to serve the Lake County community in practical ways, is seeking senior citizens and disabled residents in Antioch, Lake Villa and Lindenhurst who might need help.
