• The Brickton Arts Center's fourth annual "Artistic Living" showcase home tour and fundraiser features five of Park Ridge's finest homes ranging in age from one year to a century. The tour is themed "Past to Present" and its dates are Friday, Sept. 12, through Sunday, Sept. 14. The tour is $25 per person. An opening wine reception on Friday, Sept. 12, is $40 or $75 per couple. • The Downers Grove Park District Museum offers three individual trolley tours, two of which drive by historic Sears catalog homes built between 1908 and 1940. The tours meet at the Downers Grove Park District Museum, 831 Maple Ave., Downers Grove, and at 8:30 a.m. and 12:30 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 13, with another tour of historic Downers Grove at 10:30 a.m. the same day.
