Demonstration
• Horticulture information specialists Jennifer Brennan leads a demonstration on fall perennial garden maintenance with pruning, transplanting and more from 10 to 11:30 a.m. Friday, Sept. 12 and Saturday, Sept. 13 at the Chalet Education Center, 3132 Lake Ave., Wilmette. Chicago Botanic Garden
• A farmers market will be from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 7.

• Produce from the Chicago Botanic Garden's Green Youth Farm is for sale from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturdays through Oct. 4.
