Politics partners or a leadership team?

After the past week and the selection of presidential running mates, the choice for the next president should be clear to everyone.

On one side, Sen. Obama selected a running partner that complements his skills. In areas where he is not strong (foreign policy and many years of political experience), Sen. Biden excels.

The ticket of Obama and Biden provide an option where each partner complements the other in order to provide a balanced and experienced ticket that will guide this country in the right direction for the next four years and provide strength in many areas.

Now look at Sen. McCain, He has selected the governor from Alaska who's only benefit is that she is an attempt to court the voters in areas where Sen. McCain feels weak.

Gov. Palin, does nothing to complement Senator McCain in areas that will benefit the American people.

This can only mean that Sen. McCain does not feel the need to add a running mate who can aid in areas where he is weak since he feels that he is not weak.

I believe that we have just lived through eight torturous years of a president who felt the same way and had the arrogance that helped to lead this country into a ruined economy and ruined foreign policy.

Personally, I am not willing to go through this for another four years, and I don't believe that we can survive more years of the same failure.

I will support a candidate and team that is put together with complementary strengths to provide a strong leadership team for this country.

The Obama-Biden ticket is the team that will help us put this country back together.
